Bio

Dr. Lahman has been a professor of qualitative methodology for over 24 years. An author of four qualitative research textbooks and multiple articles, Dr. Lahman specializes in culturally responsive research ethics and creative possibilities for culturally complex qualitative research. Dr. Lahman lives in Colorado, USA, with her family and flock of urban hens.

Course Description

Researchers will engage with rich material in the related areas of enhancing qualitative research trustworthiness and ethics. Outcomes include the ability to implement strategies that enhance research trustworthiness and demonstrate rigor, understanding of required basic procedural research ethics, culturally responsive ethics, and a plan for creating a personal research ethics stance that supports an ethical and fruitful career.
